This is SCOTT SMITH from the wave board pro team checking in.

This is truly an amazing time for me. Being from London England I am now 6000 miles away from my original home and am seeing things on a daily basis that I only thought I would see on TV when I was a kid.
The capabilities of my fellow team members is amazing and I am proud to be a part of such a group of groundbreaking innovative individuals.

It’s just the beginning of this adventure and I can not wait to see what lays in store for the next few weeks. It started raining as soon as we pulled into town up here in San Francisco, so hopefully it will clear up soon. We have a great Halloween planned with plenty of tricks! Check out the Team MySpace page to keep up to date with all the antics.

Also, keep an eye out for our wicked whip, (Ford Flex) all wrapped in the wave logo.  Look out for us in CA and keep waving.

The Street Surfing Pro Team took control of Magic Mountain, teaching new riders how to get moving on The Wave, showing off new tricks to the more advance riders that came to the shows, and making new friends while handing out free gifts, flyers and signed posters.

Hey, what’s up everybody? This is Alvin Calhoun from Riverside California just updating you on this west coast tour we’ve been on. Today was a very exciting day.  It all started out with an early wake up so we could get down to the Balboa peninsula to could get some good shots. Even though it was super early, and I was pretty tired, it was well worth it. The beach had an eerie type of fog that rolled in for a few hours and made for some spectacular photos. We were pretty much down there to get some good team and scenic pics before we got into some serious ripping.

Shortly after that we headed over to the Volcom skate park in Costa Mesa, Ca.
This is personally one of my favorite skate parks, and if you ever find yourself in the area, I would highly suggest it. It has nearly everything, from pools to rails to a solid street course.

Every one got some really good footage so if you want to check it out go on to MYSPACE/STREETSURFING. We will be updating it periodically with some spectacular content.
See ya!

Yo guys.  This is Lauren Callahan from Philadelphia, PA.  So far we are all having an awesome time on tour.  We spent today filming and chilling in Venice, CA.  Venice is a rad place. It’s laid back, artsy and definitely known for being wild.  We started off with a pretty easy morning, even though it was 7am. We rode down the boardwalk, shot some nice pics and ate lunch at this notorious spot right on the beach that had amazing food.

After noon, we had a short session at the small skate park in the location of what used to be Old Sparks Pavilion. The park is very, very small, but had plenty for us to bang out some hot street tricks. The Sparks Pavilion is now a public art piece that is constantly changing.  It’s a haven for taggers, locals, photographers, surfers, and anyone who appreciates art.  We shot group and landscape photos right on and around the Pavilion.  The pics look awesome. We ended up talking with a group of locals skating with us who were there for school. They skate at the pavilion as an alternative to gym class, and many of them ripped! How lucky are they, right? Man I love Cali!

You can check out all the pix in a few days on the Streetsurfing website.
Enjoy!

What’s going on Guys, This is RobCruz from Florida, We have only been here for a few days, and we have been going none stop! From dinners and meetings with the Street Surfing head honchos, to late night jam sessions at the hotel.

What really stands out in my mind is the two days spent in Six Flags. This event was amazing, Street Surfing was asked to join Six Flags Magic Mountain Los Angeles for the weekend. We rolled up with our brand new tents and set up shop right in the middle of the park! The coolest part was getting to drive Capt. Ryan’s Truck through the middle of the park before it opened! Amazing! We spent the day teaching people how to ride the wave and showing the crowd some of our new moves.

On the second day Alvin challenged me to a friendly Rock wall climbing competition.  You can check out the video on our MySpace Page in a few days!

Sunday at Six Flags was a long day, we were there from sun up to sun down, and we had a few kids that hung out with us for almost the whole day!

The day was finished off with us running from rollercoaster to rollercoaster trying to get as many as we could in before the park closed. I think we hit 5 rollercoaster’s in an hour, we got the chance to ride a few with some of the kids that were hanging with us all day! That was very cool.

I personally rode the craziest most exhilarating ride of my life, it’s called X2. This ride drops you down a 90 degree drop head first and upside down!  If you have ever had the experience of riding this crazy machine, you know exactly what I’m talking about! Check out our Six Flags video to get in on the action with us!

Hey Groms! Ryan Wilson here, Capt. of the Pro Team, giving you all an inside look at our West Coast Tour.
This is the first gathering of the best riders in the country, creating our Pro Team. These five riders, Alvin, Tim, Robby, Lauren, and Scott, have pushed the WAVE into the sport it’s rapidly becoming and continue to shock and amaze me daily. I’ve seen each of them individually as riders, and I know some of you have seen their videos so you know what I mean, but having them together has shown me a glimpse of where their going to take us… and you’ll see too.

We’re about to embark on a two week tour of California, to hit skate parks, Six Flags, and other local hot spots to see you and your friends to let you know, we’re the REAL DEAL. If you can’t make it out to join us, log on to our web site and check out our tour site. We’ll be posting pictures, videos, and other fun items to include you in on all our adventures along the way.

So hang, and check back in everyday. You won’t want to miss the madness that’s to come.
Later!
- Ryan
